Privacy Policy

ClickBack Digital cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by ClickBack Digital. The effective date for these terms and conditions is April 1, 2024; the publication of a new version cancels all previous versions.

This privacy policy describes what information we collect about you, what this information is used for, and with whom and under what conditions this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data, how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you provide to us.

If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact us. You can find our contact details at the end of our privacy policy.

General purpose of the processing

We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later date—other than at your request—we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

Personal data that we process

ClickBack Digital collects your personal data, such as your name and address, phone number, email address, date of birth, VAT number, and bank details. We process this information because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself. We also store your contact history so we can provide better service in the future.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our services. This data (e.g., your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, ClickBack Digital may be legally obligated to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, but we will object to this within the limits of the law.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means we keep your client profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it as a request to be forgotten. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for the duration of the applicable term. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile and documents we have created as a result of your assignment.

Your rights

Because we serve clients globally, your rights under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, UK GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles, and other international regulations) may include the following:

Right to Access

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. We will respond within 30 days.

Right to Rectification

You can request corrections to any inaccurate or outdated personal information.

Right to Restrict Processing

You may request that we temporarily stop processing your data under certain circumstances.

Right to Data Portability

You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format for transfer to another provider.

Right to Erasure (“Right to Be Forgotten”)

You may request that we delete your personal information, except where retention is required by law.

Right to Object

You may object to the processing of your data in certain situations. If your objection is valid, we will cease processing immediately.

Rights Related to Automated Decisions and Profiling

ClickBack Digital does not use automated decision-making systems or profiling tools that would significantly affect you.

For all requests, we may need to verify your identity to prevent misuse. Responses will be sent to the email address we have on record unless you request otherwise.

Data security

ClickBack Digital takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact us at info@clickbackdigital.com

Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data we have already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
